Started in 2009, this campaign chooses an initiative on a yearly basis for which to aim to make a difference by utilising various online channels to communicate the message, requirements and ultimately raise funds for organisations in need.

Donate an Hour can be explained as an initiative that aims to have participants donate one billable hour’s equivalent to the cause at hand.

The 2009/2010 campaign supported the Elderly.

Donate an Hour is a private initiative of supportive collaboration for social change.

Started in 2009, this campaign chooses an initiative on a yearly basis for which to aim to make a difference by utilising various online channels to communicate the message, requirements and ultimately raise funds.

Donate and Hour is managed by Joey and Christine da Silva, who run strong influential online oriented companies (FormFunction.co.za and AlterSage.com respectively). They have decided to create and manage this non-profit campaign that they hope to build into something larger and focus on an area close to their hearts each year.

Donate an Hour can be explained as an initiative that will aim to have participants donate an hour’s “remuneration” (or hour’s worth of their salary) to the relevant cause.

This year, they have chosen to support the Elderly.
