Charity Walk December
On the 3rd of December, 8 individuals gathered at the foot of Lion’s Head to ascend for charity.
We always knew that it would take strong-willed individuals to brave the hike at sunrise (6am), and on a week day (before going to work); and wondered whether anyone would show up on the day!
We thank the following people who either joined us for the hike, or donated to the charity if they were unable to attend:

It was a magnificent morning, view photos of the hike on our Facebook group.
We managed to raise a total of R225.00 from the hike which will be utilised to provide some Christmas cheer to Huis Luckhoff residents. We also received a donation of microwave bean bags that will be given to the home and used as needed within the frailcare facility.
We intend to try and schedule one last event this year, and make these charitable events a regular happening during 2010, and would be most happy to hear your suggestions.
